BAILEY'S SCHOOL SUBJECTS TAUGHT IN ANCIENT AFRICA Volume 148
School subjects taught to Ancient African students were of “Sameness/Uniqueness” types. First were African Traditions’ “Sameness” Divine Laws--the paragon (ultimate) standard—taught as Salvation for Heaven Afterlife achievements. Second, was each African’s Self-Improvement selection of paragon Standards for “Spiritual daily living in My Own Way.” To both ends, proper category preparations resembles what prize-fighters do—i.e. getting themselves in proper physical condition and then learning approaches, methods, techniques of boxing itself. This is an extremely important conceptual way to consider ordering ones life. To illustrate, age 5 I experienced a neon-like sign conveying "Help Bright Black Boys." And that began organizing my life, as by making me aware of why it was necessary to always know who I was—whether or not I was on the Paragon Standard path—that where I was going was to my Legacy (Purpose in Life) Destination. But clues to answer the questions of how was I going to get there and what to do once I got there had come from my past history of using my leisure to learn Cosmic Principles from Nature’s Processes. It was certain that the way to get there was by not wasting time on the meaningless. Instead, the necessities, the important, the significant were to be done while avoiding the rest which wasted my time. By ensuring my flow stayed inside Divine Laws assured me that I did not need others’ approvals or to change because of others disapprovals. All of this kept spurring my Curiosity to see what is behind the next door of the journey. That discovery lit the fuse of Aliveness to see what was coming next for handling by Common Sense (in-born Truths of Comic Divine Laws). By me not knowing all that generates problems at stepping stones along the journey meant immediate cultivation of in-born Soul Sunshine Attributes from being made in God’s Image. One diagnosing and managing group is the way African Tradition uses its Web Thinking faculties of Common Sense, Critical, Creative, Rational Thinking, and Logic. It is orchestrated by Critical Thinking through ones Genius (Spiritual)/Wisdom (Metaphysical Thinking)/Intellect (synthesized Animalistic) hierarchy. Among others, these produced novel Things via Divergent Thinking while its partner, Convergent Thinking has provided analyzed and/or synthesized pertinent things together. Circumspection (coordinator of all Spirit faculties activity) of all the of the spirit)guides thesignificant into properworkable channels of Circumstances for moving the process forward. These helped with Issue I—how to learn what to learn, especially things needed to be known which I had no idea about what--ways to promote progress + give up getting involved in Attractive Distractions; Issue II—figure out workable ways to avoid/minimize losses, lacks, obstructions inherent in the Legacy journey/self-made errors/obstacles placed by fools, the ignorant, the stupid, and deliberately placed by Con-artists, the Wicked; Issue III, whenever I stepped off the Truth-Track, as a result of having made and followed my own decisions for choices and solutions, I would know where to look to start troubleshooting the spotlighted problem; Issue IV, for problem solving, I needed to alot time, fresh energy, effort to immediately do research so as to learn ‘on-the-spot’ methods to vanish the problem in order to keep going straight ahead. All of this is what was likely preparations for subjects taught in Ancient African schools, e.g. Science Philosophy, Logic, Spirituality, "Social," Morals, & Economics.
