Extracting Peace Out of Pain: Life is About Perspective

In May of 2021, at age 33, I received a life-changing diagnosis that would change me in many ways. I was diagnosed with glioblastoma brain cancer. I had two choices: I could either fall into despair and pain or figure out a way to find whatever benefits I could gain from it and peace that could be extracted out of it. I chose the latter. My aim is to take everyone through that experience and process. I talk about how I maintain being at peace with the recent change in the trajectory of my life and not at constant war with an outcome I had no control over. Extracting Peace out of Pain: Life is about Perspective, is about perspective, legacy, lessons, gratitude, and peace. I hope that my story inspires those in similar circumstances to smile internally in the face of adversity.
